Matthew Melius' Baptism

Long awaited moment as the day (15-September-2009) came to baptize Matthew; such a fine young man! Elder Collins was asked to perform the baptism and he was honored. In the past six months, Matthew has become one of our best friends. He is very active in the Castries Branch and we have gone with him and Lee to eat Sconce (the fish part of the large sea shells)--yummie! and to watch the Leatherback Turtles lay their eggs and have had suppers with them and played games--love him! We took some pictures of the occasion even if it were nearing night time and the day was getting dark.

Elder Collins and Matthew shortly before the Baptismal Program began at the Castries Branch Building. After the program, we left the church for the Vigie Beach...Elder Williams and Elder Collins.

In the truck.........................at the beach, ready to go!

Elder William, Matthew Melius, Elder Cromwell and Elder Collins.

Quite a group attended.

A MARVELOUS MOMENT!
