Within a few days of being in Linden, Elder Collins had the privilege of baptizing Teslyn Bacchus on
02-October-2009. A young lady that Elder Leishman had taught while he was here and things weren't quite ready by the time he had to leave for Tobago....Elder Collins said "thanks for letting me be proxy". In the few days prior to the baptism, we were able to become quite acquainted with Teslyn and her family--she has a precious testimony and desired that Elder Collins be the one to baptize her.
The baptism took place in the Demerara River out by her home. As they walked into the water, Teslyn was doing a lot of splashing and when asked what was she doing ?--her answer was simply, "I'm chasing away the Pyrhanas" (!) Elder Stewart and Elder Gossai were witnesses.

We weren't able to take many pictures; but, it was a great experience!
